Nearly 200 healthcare professionals of various medical specialties — primarily non-infectious disease specialists — from across Ukraine joined the online training “Diagnosis and Treatment of Hepatitis C in Non-Specialized Healthcare Settings.”

The trainer, Prof. Ihor Zaitsev (MD, Professor at the Department of Therapy, Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenereology, Postgraduate Education Faculty, O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University), guided participants through:

• practical skills in diagnosing and prescribing treatment for hepatitis C using a simplified approach;
• a clear understanding of the standard sequence of actions for typical, non-complicated cases.

The session also covered:

• the simplified care pathway for HCV patients;
• clinical algorithms for managing hepatitis C in non-specialized facilities.

At the end of the lecture, participants had the opportunity to complete a final test and receive 10 CPD credits, provided they achieved a score of 70% or higher.
