The abstract submission deadline for "EECA INTERACT 2022", which will be held in mid-December in Latvia, has been extended until October 9. There are a limited number of scholarships; preference is given to young investigators.
The third scientific workshop on HIV, Hepatitis C and Tuberculosis in Eastern Europe and Central Asia "EECA INTERACT 2022", organized by AFEW International and the Amsterdam Institute for Global Health & Development (AIGHD), will be held on 13-14 December in Riga, Latvia.
"EECA INTERACT 2022" will bring together scientists, clinicians, policymakers, and civil society from the region to share cutting-edge knowledge and ideas in in the fields of epidemiology (modelling), treatment, pathogenesis, and prevention of HIV, TB, and viral hepatitis as well as chronic conditions. The organizers encourage researchers from Eastern and Central Europe, Balkans, Central Asia, and the Baltics to submit abstracts for peer review by October 9.
One of the main goals of the event is to foster new research interactions among leading investigators and those who represent the potential future scientific leadership for health care and research in the region.
There are a limited number of scholarships for the highest scoring abstract presenters to attend the INTERACT workshop in person; preference is given to young investigators (under 35) or less than 5 years out from PhD or MD.
