In the framework of “Integrating Addiction Treatment and HIV services into Primary Care Clinics in Ukraine” Project the UIPHP experts in cooperation with colleagues from the Yale Medical School delivered a training specially tailored for medical doctors and NGO staff based in the Mykolaiv City.

On the eve of the World AIDS Day, on November 30^th researchers met in Kyiv with heads of Ukrainian city and region Departments of Health to discuss urgent public health issues and possible routs of scaling up opioid agonist therapy (OAT) in Ukraine. The meeting was organised by the Ukrainian Institute on Public Health Policy, Public Health Centre (MoH), and the Yale School of Medicine.

Results dissemination meeting obtained at the end of a four-year long HPTN 074 study was organised on the 18^th of October in Kyiv; the study was carried out among injecting drug users on three locations, namely Ukraine, Indonesia, and Vietnam. In Ukraine the study was implemented with support from the Ukrainian Institute on Public Health Policy (UIPHP).
